Website accessibility statement
Accessibility is central to JDOG Studios, so it matters on this website too. Last reviewed 24 October 2026.
Our aim
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet had the site independently audited, so we don’t claim full conformance.
What we’ve done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- A “Skip to main content” link is the first item on every page.
- Pages use meaningful headings, landmarks and labelled navigation for screen readers.
- Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG AA colour contrast in both themes.
- Body text uses Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, a typeface designed for readers with low vision.
- The layout adapts to zoom, larger text settings and small screens without horizontal scrolling.
- Animation is minimal and switches off if your device is set to reduce motion.
- The contact form has visible labels, clear instructions, an error summary and messages that explain how to fix each problem.
- Information is never shown by colour alone.
- Buttons and links are large enough to tap comfortably.
- You can choose a light or dark theme, or follow your device setting.
How we tested
Before launch we:
- ran automated accessibility checks (axe-core) against every page in both themes
- tested keyboard navigation through every page, the mobile menu and the contact form
- checked layouts at mobile, tablet and desktop sizes
- checked behaviour with reduced motion enabled
Automated tools catch only some issues. We have not yet tested with a full range of screen readers and assistive technologies, or with disabled users, and we plan to.
Known limitations
- The decorative logo image is a raster graphic. It has text alternatives, but it may look soft at very high zoom levels until vector logo files are added.
- Screen reader testing across different browsers and devices is not yet complete.
